Principal Consultant Joe Czapiewski has over 15 years’ experience working with a variety of nonprofits, community organizations and public agencies. When working with JFC Strategic Services as the project lead, you can be assured that Joe will focus on your needs, listen to your internal and external constituencies, and produce the type of results that you will be able to use and not just leave on a shelf.
Joe has long had a passion for community leadership and non-profit organizational excellence. That passion has manifested itself into volunteer work for dozens of local and regional non-profits, serving in board, committee and consulting roles. He has also been fortunate to serve as fundraising development staff at two agencies over ten years. Joe began his fundraising career by starting a one-person development office for St. Philip’s Church in Bemidji, leading the charge in all aspects of the development and marketing program. He also served for seven years as a Development Officer with the Bemidji State University Foundation, building expertise in major gifts, planned gifts, large events, policy creation and many other facets of development.
In addition to extensive work conducting a variety of strategic plans, fundraising development and programming activities in the public and non-profit community, Joe also served for six years as the Physical Planner with the Headwaters Regional Development Commission. In that role, he provided leadership for a variety of natural resource and land use planning projects, many of which proved skills and planning expertise that will be valuable to your project!
